A Hindu businessman in Pakistan's Sindh province faced a distressing situation where his three daughters were forcefully converted to Islam and then married to Muslim men after being kidnapped. The incident was reported by a prominent minority rights group in the country called Pakistan Darewar Itehad. The conversions were allegedly conducted by Pir Javed Ahmed Qadri, and despite appeals from the organization, the issue of forced conversion of Hindu girls continues without any action taken by the authorities.
According to Shiva Kachhi, the head of Pakistan Darewar Itehad, the three sisters were married to the same men who abducted them. He also mentioned an increase in attacks on the Hindu community in riverine areas since the Seema Haider incident. Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman and mother of four, had moved to India to be with a Hindu man she met through an online game platform, resulting in her being ostracized by her family and neighbors for defying conservative societal norms in a Muslim-majority country. Due to this incident, there have been daily threats from dacoits in the riverine areas against the Hindu community.
