In the short 0.20-second video, Amaan Tanwar, who goes by the handle amaantanwarofficial0001, can be heard issuing threats of violence towards non-Muslims. He urges his fellow Muslims to unite and physically harm those who oppose Islam.
The video quickly gained traction on Twitter, with many users calling for the Haryana Police to take action against this spreader of hate.
Following the circulation of Amaan Tanwar's video on Twitter, we investigated his Instagram account and discovered that he enjoys considerable popularity on the photo and video-sharing platform, boasting a follower count of 44.5k. He describes himself as an "artist" on social media.
Amaan Tanwar's Instagram page is filled with inflammatory posts, where he consistently encourages acts of violence against non-Muslims. Nearly every post attempts to motivate his Muslim followers to commit violent acts against individuals of other faiths.
One post, shared six days ago, had the caption "Musalman" in Hindi. In this post, Amaan Tanwar threatened non-Muslims through a two-line poem, asserting that his Muslim community would swiftly eliminate non-Muslims from the country.
In a message dated May 31, Amaan Tanwar can be heard boasting that non-Muslims should seriously consider their fate before interfering with Muslims, as Muslims have no fear of death.
Another hateful post, published on May 29, contains another threat towards non-Muslims. Amaan Tanwar warns them not to challenge Muslims, as they would soon face the consequences of their actions.
In a post dated May 26, Amaan Tanwar issues a threat by proclaiming that he and his fellow Muslims are prepared to kill anyone who opposes their religion. He confidently states, "If anyone dares to speak against Islam, they will meet their end directly through a bullet."
