In India, a Hindu girl abducted by a Muslim was discovered at an Islamic school

A shocking incident bearing a striking resemblance to The Kerala Story has come to light in the Uttar Pradesh district of Meerut. In this case, a Muslim man named Asif, who works as a tile mason and resides in Daurala, was arrested for abducting a Hindu college student. According to reports, the girl had met Asif through one of her Muslim friends.

Hindu organizations have accused Asif of keeping the victim in a madrassa with the intention of converting her to Islam. However, the police successfully recovered the girl, and further legal actions are being taken as the matter undergoes investigation.

This incident is linked to the Meerut's Daurala police station neighborhood. The girl's father reported the incident to the police on July 26th, stating that she had left on July 24th to attend Jain Degree College in Khatauli, Muzaffarnagar, but never arrived there.

Despite his extensive search, the girl's whereabouts remained unknown. The father mentioned that she had been receiving calls from a boy on her phone and implicated her Muslim friend in the situation.

Concerned about his daughter's safety, he demanded police intervention, leading them to initiate an inquiry under section 366 (Kidnapping, abducting, inducing a woman to compel her to marry against her will, seduced to illicit intercourse, etc) of the Indian Penal Code. OpIndia possesses a copy of the complaint.

Upon learning about the incident, Hindu groups labeled it as "love jihad." The issue caused uproar at the police station during the proceedings. Further investigation revealed that both the perpetrator and the girl involved were adults.
