Bangladesh: Hindu family subjected to torture by Muslims in an attempt to force them out of region

The Hindu family residing in Dhanikhola village in the Trishal Upazila of Maymensingh district has experienced a troubling situation. It is claimed that in recent months, extremist individuals with Islamic affiliations have been attempting to force the family out of their home. These individuals allegedly made threats, urging the family to leave the country. However, despite the threats, the family did not succumb to the pressure.

On the morning of June 8th, a group of Islamic radicals, led by Muhammad Jalil and Muhammad Manna, launched an attack on the Hindu family. They caused damage to their house and subjected the family members to brutal torture when they resisted. The women in the family were also targeted and beaten by the extremists. The affected Hindu family has accused the police of not taking any action to apprehend the accused radicals.
