Are Muslims allowed to eat Prasad from Hindu temple?

Darul Uloom Deoband is an Islamic seminary, located in Deoband, a town in Saharanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Deoband is basically an organisation which issues fatwas. It also has a long history of issuing controversial fatwas. Deoband is a form Islam which is basically practised in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.

As it is a seminary, there are a very large number of senior Afghani and Pakistani Taliban leaders, who attend Deobandi seminaries. There is a website, Darul Uloom Deoband website where people especially Muslim people can ask questions related to their family, health, marriage relationship, and other topics and also can seek solutions from Deobandi school. So there are some questions which were asked by a few people. Let’s discuss this.

Someone asked for advice on food prepared by Hindus. A Muslim asked two sets of questions, the first one is if he can eat by sitting next to Hindu and eating his own food and the second one is if he can eat food prepared by a Hindu. The answer which was given by the Deobandi is yes, a Muslim can eat food by sitting next to Hindu if the meals are separated but it is also suggested that the Muslim should eat in a way that the Hindu got influenced and converted to Islam.

They are telling Muslim people to provoke non-Muslim people to convert in Islam, which is a great crime but Muslim don't afraid to do so. They have always manipulated non-Muslim people to convert in Islam, or they have forced people to convert in Islam.

It is also suggested that Muslim should avoid food cooked in a non-Muslim household. They have also advised that Muslims should avoid those foods which contain haram or it might have offerings of their Gods, such food contains haram.

Another question was asked whether it is okay to eat halal food brought by a non-Muslim. So the answer was no. Instead they suggested that the non-Muslim should get invited by the Muslim and eat their food which they prepare and prefer.

Another question is if a Muslim can eat food items that are given in temples. The answer is that these foods are considered haram in Islam so they should avoid it and it is also unlawful in Islam.

Islam always has their own way of showing their rules and law but these laws are unlawful and it creates a kind of violence among each other. In Islam they also banned people from singing, if someone from their community sing or performs they issue fatwa against that person which is also illegal, because I have mentioned it earlier and also mentioning it again that art has no religion so there is no Muslim or Hindu in art and if a community is stopping you from singing or dancing then it should be considered as unlawful.

There are many singers who are Muslim but they have established themselves so well that people are dying to hear their voice. And the thing which the above question consists of is food, basically food is a way of living, if you are hungry and you want some food to eat then you don’t need to ask the religion of the person who is serving the food, rather you should thank them for feeding you. But in Islam they never appreciate a person rather they will start violence for feeding a Muslim. Islam law is absolutely illogical and it has no proper logic behind any of the law.
