Allison Fluke-Ekren

Allison Fluke-Ekren is a lady who has been involved in many terrorist activities in the US. She was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment on 1st November. She is alleged to be associated with many terrorist groups and activities. According to the evidence provided against her by the Department of Justice, she has also planned many attacks in the US. She is a school teacher from Kansas who also became a rare female leader of the Islamic state and formed her own terrorist battalion in Syria.

Allison Fluke-Ekren confessed that she trained almost 100 women including girls and also minor girls below 10 years of age, to assault rifles, grenades and suicide explosives during the Syria war in 2017. She contributed her work to the Islamic state after her 2nd, 3rd and 4th husband were killed while working in the terrorist activities and her 5-year-old son died in a tank strike.

According to some reports Allison Fluke-Ekren was also known as Umm Mohammed al-Amrik. She provided training to the women and girls on behalf of ISIS. She also admitted that she plotted terrorist attacks on the university and malls in the US.

“To conduct the attack, Fluke-Ekren allegedly explained that she could go to a shopping mall in the United States, park a vehicle full of explosives in the basement or parking garage level of the structure, and detonate the explosives in the vehicle with a cell phone triggering device. Fluke-Ekren allegedly considered any attack that did not kill a large number of individuals to be a waste of resources,” the Department of Justice was quoted.

The Department of Justice also noted that she is a mother of at least t children. She had left the United States in 2008. She first lived in Egypt before moving to Libya in 2011. Then in the very next year, she was moved to Syria to be a part of ‘violent jihad’ as the terrorist group Ansar al-Sharia had ceased conducting attacks in Libya.

According to the documents submitted by the Department of Justice, Allison’s husband was also associated with a terrorist group named Ansar al-Sharia and he was killed in an airstrike in 2016. Allison’s husband had stolen the documents of the government from the US Special Mission after the terrorist attack on an American compound in Benghazi in 2012.

Allison also led a women's centre in Raqqa on the behalf of the Islamic state, where she trained them. There she provided medical services, childcare, and educational services about ISIS teachings, her main job was teaching women and children to use AK-47s, grenades, and suicide vests.

A criminal complaint was also made against Allison in the year 2019 but was not made public until she was brought back to the United States in January of this year. “We didn’t intentionally train any young girls”, Allison Fluke-Ekren said in the court on June 7 claiming that she did not know that some of the trainees were underage. According to the reports, Allison is sentenced to 20 years in prison on 1st November.
