A Muslim murderer of a Hindu girl claimed that fearing anyone other than Allah is seen as polytheism

On Monday, May 29th, the nation woke up to the alarming news of the brutal killing of a young girl named Sakshi, perpetrated by her so-called "friend" Sahil, in the Shahbad dairy area of Delhi. The horrifying act was captured on CCTV footage, revealing that Sahil stabbed Sakshi more than 20 times and then used a large stone to crush her head. Sakshi's parents revealed that the extent of the stabbing was so severe that her intestines were protruding from her body.

The Delhi police promptly apprehended Sahil, the accused, in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district. Media outlets repeatedly featured a photograph of Sahil wearing a purple shirt. OpIndia conducted an investigation on Instagram, searching for profiles under the names Sahil Khan, Sahil Sarfaraz, and Sahil Sakshi. Finally, they discovered a profile where the aforementioned image of Sahil was uploaded, along with several other pictures confirming his association with the handle.

During their examination of Sahil's Instagram "highlights," OpIndia came across an intriguing story posted by Sahil himself. One of the stories included in his "Instagram Highlights" was a video (reel) depicting a man walking with a gun. Sahil Khan (Sarfaraz) shared this video, originally posted by a user named 'Sameer6000,' on his own stories. Sahil's post featuring the video was dated as recently as February 16th.

In the video shared by Sahil, a man can be seen strolling with a sizable firearm. The voice in the background of the video states, "Aur hum, Allah ke siva kisika darr Shirk samajhte hai" (and we consider fearing anyone other than Allah as shirk). In Islamic teachings, the concept of shirk refers to the sin of idolatry or polytheism, which involves the worship or deification of anyone or anything other than Allah.
